George E. Ross

George Eugene Ross is 14th president of Central Michigan University (CMU). Prior to his presidency, he was the vice president for finance and administrative Services at CMU. Ross was also the president at Alcorn State University, executive vice president at Clark Atlanta University, executive vice chancellor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and vice president for Business Affairs at Tuskegee University. Ross earned both a B.A. and M.A. in business administration from Michigan State University, a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Alabama, and completed postdoctoral studies at Harvard University.
