NC-SARA is pleased to announce that Massachusetts and Puerto Rico have now joined SARA. Massachusetts’ application has been approved by the New England Board of Higher Education; Puerto Rico’s application has been approved by the Southern Regional Education Board.

SARA staff have received several questions regarding the state-mandated tuition refund policies of several (SARA) states and the applicability of those polices to SARA-participating institutions operating from other states.
At the NC-SARA board meeting on May 3, NC-SARA staff will recommend that NC-SARA create a searchable database of academic programs offered at a distance by SARA institutions.
