NC-SARA is pleased to share our 2025-2026 Annual Report, which highlights the collaborative efforts of the SARA community to support access to postsecondary distance education. This year’s report details significant achievements from the past year, including critical policy improvements designed to advance student consumer protections and the foundational work currently underway for our 2027-2030 Strategic Plan.

We extend our gratitude to NC-SARA’s regional education compact partners, member states, territories, and the District of Columbia, and SARA-participating institutions for their dedicated work. Together, these stakeholders ensure that SARA remains a vital resource for providing broad access to postsecondary distance education for students nationwide.
