NC-SARA’s Board of
Directors
The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) was established to ensure that the SARA initiative provides a national solution, rather than four regional solutions. The NC-SARA board includes the chief executive officers of the four regional compacts, as well as leaders from states, institutions, accreditors, and other higher educational organizations and associations, to assure that the perspectives of all stakeholder groups are represented, while keeping the board small enough to be workable and effective. With the exception of the four regional compact leaders, there are not specific roles on the board for individual stakeholder groups.
