NC-SARA is pleased to announce that Massachusetts and Puerto Rico have now joined SARA. Massachusetts’ application has been approved by the New England Board of Higher Education; Puerto Rico’s application has been approved by the Southern Regional Education Board.
Membership in SARA now includes 49 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. California is the only state that has not joined SARA. About 1,800 institutions participate.
Massachusetts will begin accepting applications from its SARA-eligible institutions on Monday, June 18.; Puerto Rico will begin accepting applications from its institutions later this summer.
