NC-SARA and the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS) collaborating on cost-savings study related to SARA participation

NC-SARA has commissioned the assistance of the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS) to conduct a cost-savings study. This study will be similar to the 2021 national survey and report which looked at the financial impact of participation in SARA. Data will be collected from SARA-participating institutions via survey, and will be used to estimate what it would cost for an institution to offer distance education in other states without participating in SARA. The final report and updated cost savings calculator are expected in summer 2025.
