Jared joined NC-SARA in April 2024. His work focuses on engaging with institutions to further and strengthen their understanding of SARA policy and timely developments. He serves as staff coordinator and NC-SARA Board liaison for the SARA Policy Modification Process, guiding the continued development of technological tools to streamline the administrative aspects of participation for states and institutions.

Prior to joining NC-SARA, Jared was the Director of SARA for the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) and served on the organization’s team of Senior Directors.

Jared also spent a decade in mainly public postsecondary institutions, primarily at the University of Rhode Island, focused on academic affairs, program and college leadership, and admission and retention efforts. He first served as an academic advisor and later as an assistant dean. He has also taught and coordinated several undergraduate courses.

Jared earned a BS degree in Human Development and an MS degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. from the University of Hartford.
