SARA Member State and
Territory Grants
NC-SARA is pleased to offer grants to SARA member states and territories. Each SPE agency may apply annually for a grant of up to $7,500 to support SARA-related continuing education, initiatives, and enhancements.
Potential uses for the grant funds include, but are not limited to:
- Updating and improving digital infrastructure
- Improving data collection quality, including metrics used
- Multi-state regional and/or interregional collaboration
- Training and/or professional development (e.g., webinar access, conference attendance)
- Membership fees
- Updating and improving authorization processes
- Assessment of current operations
- External consultants
The allocation of funds for State and Territory Grants is voted on annually by the NC-SARA Board and is subject to change.
All grant funds awarded to SARA members must be spent within the fiscal year. FY25 funds should be spent by June 30, 2025.
