We would like to thank everyone for their tireless work to help students during this health and economic crisis. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, NC-SARA has decided to increase the time provided for data reporting this year. The reporting window will open on May 15, 2020 and conclude on June 30, 2020. This change will allow SARA participating institutions time to prepare and report the most current and complete data. Further, this change is aligned with the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) – Integrated Postsecondary Education Data (IPEDS) System, 2019-20 Data Collection Schedule, which has been extended by two weeks.

For data reporting this year:

  • For reporting enrollment data – institutions will submit disaggregated fall IPEDS 2019 data.
  • For reporting out-of-state learning placement (OOSLP) data – the learning placements reported will be from the 2019 calendar year.

Accurate and on time data reporting is important to our commitment to the states, regional compacts, and SARA as a whole.  If you have questions or need guidance regarding enrollment reporting, please refer to the NC-SARA Data Reporting Guide which can be found at https://nc-sara.org/data
