Version 26.1 of the SARA Policy Manual, effective as of July 1, 2026, is now available on NC-SARA’s SARA Policy Manual webpage. This update incorporates changes resulting from the nine SARA policy modification proposals approved in 2025 by the regional education compacts through their regional steering committees (RSCs) and the NC-SARA Board of Directors. The changes are described in section 9 (Revisions to SARA Documents) of the SARA Policy Manual. The approved SARA policy modification proposals that these revisions incorporate can also be viewed as redline in the SARA Policy Portal.
