Onboarding Sessions

Get an overview of SARA processes, SPE responsibilities, and the SARA Portal by participating in either of the SPE Onboarding Process calls. These meetings are open to all:

  • SPE Welcome Call (60 minutes) – Overview of SARA & NC-SARA and a review of the SARA Portal and other resources for SPEs.
  • SARA Portal Training (90 minutes) – Learn how to navigate the SARA Portal to manage institution reviews, approvals, and related processes and get an overview of administrative forms and their uses.

SPE Essential Duties

SPE Welcome Kit

The SPE Welcome Kit is for new SPEs and will accompany a set of welcome and orientation meetings with NC-SARA staff.

SPE Offboarding Checklist

The SPE Offboarding Checklist is an optional tool to assist with a smooth transition if you have a change in roles/personnel at your State Portal Entity. After notifying your regional compact SARA director of the change, please consider providing the information in the SPE Offboarding Checklist to other relevant stakeholders.
