New Resource: SARA Quick Start Guides
Updated on Fri, 01/21/2022 - 13:20
When institutions participate in SARA, they agree to a set of compliance requirements as detailed in the SARA Policy Manual. SARA Quick Start Guides are a new resource, intended to help institution personnel easily understand a particular requirement to help them maintain compliance, communicate with colleagues regarding SARA requirements, and explain the requirement to students and other stakeholders. These guides are being developed by NC-SARA in collaboration with State Portal Entities and regional compacts.
The first four SARA Quick Start Guides are now available on the NC-SARA website (you can find a link to the collection under Resources > SARA Resources for States and Institutions).
- Annual Data Reporting
- Institution Applications
- Field Trips
- Short Courses
NC-SARA is in the process of developing several more SARA Quick Start Guides, and we will release and announce them as they become available. Please remember: Institutions should always check for any state-specific requirements with their SARA State Portal Entity.
