NC-SARA would like to offer the SARA community one additional opportunity to provide feedback on the 2023 SARA Policy Modification Process. We are interested in your feedback on how we can improve the process and have created a short 7-question survey that should take approximately 5 minutes. 2023 SARA Policy Modification Process Wrap-Up Webinar Recording and Slides
On November 29, 2023, NC-SARA hosted the 2023 SARA Policy Modification Process Wrap-Up: Results of NC-SARA Board Voting and Implications for SARA-Participating Institutions and State Portal Entities Webinar.
Presenters in this webinar shared updates about actions taken at the Fall 2023 NC-SARA Board Meeting, including the outcomes of voting on the six SARA policy modification proposals that were approved by the regional compacts through their Regional Steering Committees (RSCs). Presenters provided an overview of each of the proposals approved by the board and discussed the implementation timeline and other considerations that may impact SARA-participating institutions and State Portal Entities (SPEs).

2024 SARA Policy Modification Process Draft Calendar
Key dates for the 2024 SARA Policy Modification Process are available on the 2024 draft calendar. In addition to the steps listed on the calendar, we will offer a public forum; we will add that date to the calendar once it is confirmed (after the proposal submission period ends). We look forward to your engagement in this important process in 2024!
